Hardel Mutual Plywood

Ecology invites you to review and comment on two documents about cleanup of hazardous substances at the Hardel Mutual Plywood cleanup site in West Olympia. For more information, please read the fact sheet.


We are accepting comments on:


  • Agreed Order DE 21726 - a legal agreement between Ecology and West Bay Development Group. West Bay is the potentially liable party who is responsible for cleanup. The legal agreement requires West Bay to study the site, compare different options for how to clean up the site, and suggest a cleanup option to Ecology.


  • Public Participation Plan - a plan for how Ecology will share information about the site and how the public can provide input.
