BNSF Railway Blank Tank Property - Amended Agreed Order for Shallow Soil Removal
You are invited to review and comment on the draft amended Agreed Order for the BNSF Railway Black Tank Property June 4 through July 3, 2018. The cleanup site covers roughly 18 acres in Spokane's Hillyard neighborhood at 3202 E. Wellesley, Spokane, Washington. The amendment requires the parties responsible to excavate the top 15 feet of contaminated soil in the five contaminated areas before the final cleanup plan is complete to keep North Spokane Corridor construction on schedule. The contaminated soil will be disposed off-site.
